Workoholism is often considered to be positive and beneficial and workoholics are supposed to be very efficient people, who love their own work and are not lazy. In fact, workoholism is not connected with enthusiasm at all but is a dependency like any other. This paper deals with the research on the leisure time relaxing activities and physical activities of students of the University of South Bohemia. It was realized on the basis of 1170 student sample of every 8 faculties that the active spending of leisure time prefers more than a half of the students. The most popular activities are swimming, cycling and quick walking.But the problematic situation faces the group of 35 per cent of students, who prefers passive ways of relaxation and spending leisure time.
